Megan Greenwell is the author of the 2025 book Bad Company: Private Equity and the Death of the American Dream, which was a finalist for SABEW's Best in Business Book Award. A longtime editor at WIRED, Deadspin, New York, and other publications, she is now a contributing writer at Bloomberg Businessweek; the host of the Columbia Journalism Review's flagship podcast, The Kicker; and the deputy director of the Princeton Summer Journalism Program, a workshop and college-access initiative for low-income high school journalists.
