About me
Letrell Deshan Crittenden, Ph.D., is the inaugural Director of the Center for Community-Engaged Media at Temple University. In his year at Temple, he has guided the direction of the new center, which seeks to serve the information needs of communities by working by, for and with members of the public. Prior to taking this position in February, 2025, He served as the Director of Community Engagement for the American Press Institute.
