Abha Bhattarai leads Equality coverage at Bloomberg, examining how power, wealth and bias shape the modern economy. She previously spent 16 years at The Washington Post, most recently as an economics correspondent. Her reporting on front-line workers during the pandemic earned a Gerald Loeb Award.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Abha has also written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Reuters.
