Cara Rubinsky is the London-based global business editor for The Associated Press, where she works with reporters and editors in the U.S., Asia, Europe and Africa. Her team covers technology, artificial intelligence, the global economy, retail, travel, workplace issues and other key topics, with a focus on explanatory journalism and consumer-focused stories. In 2022, she launched a financial wellness initiative that uses innovative storytelling techniques to bring important information about budgeting, debt and other topics to underserved audiences. She previously oversaw AP’s text news report in Europe and has also held several key positions in the U.S., including New England news editor.
